Well, the IT job never panned out. For the foreseeable future, the electrical industry will have to contend with me.
Another exciting project has turned up. The church that I attend, and help teach Sunday school at (http://www.realityolympia.com/team.html) has decided to develop their own curriculum. They have asked me to be on the team. I have always wanted to write. This isn't what I had expected to do, but I am very excited about it.

Intro

Welcome to my blog. I doubt that I will post much, but we'll see.
I actually created this blog over a year ago, just because I thought of a clever title.
I recently applied for an IT job at the agency I work at for the state of Washington. It would be very exciting to get it. I have been working as an electrician for the past 12 years, and frankly have had enough.
Writing a letter of interest was a new experience for me. Pimping myself is not something I regularly do. It must of worked, as they want me to interview. The position is desktop support. Entry level, but it has a lot of potential to advanced. I call tomorrow to set up an interview.
